Important Statement
In capital markets, there are risks of loss as well as the potential for profit from the transactions you will conduct. Therefore, before deciding to trade, you need to understand the risks you may encounter in the market and make your decisions by taking into account your financial situation and constraints.
For this purpose, you need to understand the following points as stipulated in Article 14 of the "Crowdfunding Regulation" numbered III-35/A.2:
Warning
Before you start trading, please check whether the organization you are considering working with is included in the list of platforms deemed suitable for conducting crowdfunding activities by the Board. You can find information about the platforms listed on the www.spk.gov.tr website.
Information forms are not subject to the approval of the Capital Markets Board.
Risk Notification
In addition to the points specified in the “Membership Agreement” that will be signed with the platform where you will conduct transactions, it is very important for you to understand the following points:
1. The relevant legislation and all administrative regulation provisions issued by the Capital Markets Board, the Central Registry Agency, and clearing houses will apply to the account you will open with the platform and all transactions carried out through this account.
2. Crowdfunding transactions are subject to risks at various levels. Investments in projects involve significant material risks, particularly the risk of partial or total loss of the invested amount.
3. You may not obtain any returns from your investment. Your investment is not covered by any deposit guarantee and does not fall under the provisions of the Capital Markets Law No. 6362 regarding the compensation of investors. Additionally, investments made in early-stage ventures typically do not provide any dividend payments.
4. Crowdfunding investments are inherently illiquid investments. You may not be able to sell your investment at any time; even if you do, you may face high transaction costs.
5. There is a risk that the project may not achieve its commercial objectives. Past performance is not an indicator of future results, and in early-stage ventures, even past performance data may not be available.
This General Risk Notification Form for Crowdfunding Activities aims to inform the client about the existing risks in general but may not cover all risks arising from crowdfunding activities. Therefore, you should conduct thorough research before directing your savings to such investments.
I acknowledge that I have read and understood all the above points; I am signing this “General Risk Notification Form for Crowdfunding Activities” at my free will, reserving my rights to demand and file claims for any damages that may arise due to the platform's fault or negligence during the implementation of these principles, and that I have collected a copy of the Form after signing the Agreement.
